Our History of Service

When founder, Phil Kuhl, opened the doors of Kuhl Insurance in 1979, he had a big vision. He wanted to build an organization that was always one step ahead in understanding the insurance markets and always ahead of the curve on the latest insurance technologies. But more than that, he wanted to build an environment where employees were treated right and where they passed that same respect on to their customers and community.

That vision was even more successful than he imagined. More than 35 years later, still based in the Pumpkin Capital of the world – Morton, Illinois, we’re still growing. Kuhl Insurance is prospering – and so are our customers – and it’s all thanks to the simple formula Phil instilled in us:

“Do right by your customers.”

Doing right means staying on top of the insurance market and evaluating the companies we partner with for financial stability, ease of policy service and claims paying liability.
